As an introduction to podcasting, students worked in teams of 2 or 3 to create a "radio drama" that began with the phrase, "To begin with, they never got along." Each 2.5 - 5 min. sound file had to include a pre-recorded voice, a rhythmic noise, and an exclamation.
As an end-of-the-year project, students worked in groups of 2-3 to produce a radio drama focusing on a great moment in science -- a discovery, an invention, a new theory, a new substance.
