Science Current Events Audio Podcasts
Each month 6th grade science students look through RSS feeds on the science web site looking for something that sparks their interest in the way of current events with a science flavor. They read the article and write a 60 second summary. Using Audioboo, they record their current events summary as an audio file and then upload their podcast + a three-sentence description + a picture about the article to the web. Students then cross-post their Audioboo podcast to their web page on the class Kidblog web site.
